Dreams... Maybe Nightmares

I had two this morning. Thursday morning. Yes I know it is nearly 2am Friday.

1 - I noticed a leak in our bed room ceiling. At least evidence of a leak. The ceiling was sagging and had that shiny wet look.

I called my wife over to see and told her not to poke it because it might rupture causing the drywall and whatever else to come falling down.

She poked it. Made a huge mess.

2 - We (me and the missus) are at some formal function with the CEO lady I interviewed with in Connecticut. She found me and said she had found her dog and cat. I was glad for her. Guess I knew they had been missing.

What I saw was this; the dog was nearly folded in half. Obviously hit by a car. Whimpering and in obvious pain. She said 'doesn't look like he is going to make it.' The cat, also hit by a car was cut open and also in obvious pain.

She had them both in a shopping cart... like you use at the grocery store.

She turned to head back into the function saying, 'they'll be dead soon enough.' And left them.

I woke up appalled.

If this is what my subconscious thinks of her, I'm really glad I did not take that job.

Sigh - why can't I just have raunchy sex dreams like normal people?

Killer Red Bird

Oooo!! No wait, I do have something.

Another fucked up dream. Ok, ready... (this is so weird)

I’m looking out an open window, it is very high. There is one of those fake balcony things, you know the railing and what not but you can’t get out on it.

Any way, the balcony thing is large, like 12 feet long and 3 feet from the outside wall. Hovering there at the fake balcony edge, like ridding an updraft, is a red bird. A Cardinal. Just filtering back and fourth about 3 feet in front of me.

About this time I notice he is holding another bird in his claws/feet. It is not dead, he is holding it by the head. It’s not fighting but I can see it blinking. The red bird lands on the railing and kills it and eats it.

All the while I’m screaming for him to stop, leave, don’t kill the little bird but I am completely ignored. As if I’m not there, invisible or he knows I’m not a threat.

I woke myself up yelling.

What... A... Dream...

So... I had another dream last night.

Good God.... A sex dream... not getting enough I guess.

Extremely vivid. Woke up half laying on my side and half on my stomach... like I had a kickstand.

That was just wrong!!

Fluffy White Sheep and A Furry Tan Bunny

Anybody out there analyze dreams?

This one woke me up laughing.

I’m watching my friends the sheep. (I know, I know... we’re off to a great start aren’t we?) They are being led across a pasture by one sheep that is actually an alien. He was leading them to a cliff with the intention of killing them. I could see this and knew it to be true but could not communicate with them to tell them so.

Another friend, a tan rabbit, found out the truth and was running through the stampeding sheep trying to tell them to stop. He’s yelling, “He’s trying to kill you!!”, “STOP!!!”, “Turn around!!”, “Can’t you hear me?!?”. All the while he is getting bumped and rolled under the hooves of the sheep. He finally makes his way to the front of the heard and starts yelling at the alien sheep. He stops and picks the bunny up holding him under his front legs and is laughing, evilly, at his success. All of the sheep are running by and plummeting to their deaths behind him.

The bunny is swinging violently trying to punch the alien sheep. The sheep laughs “So, what are you going to do now?!?”. All of a sudden the bunny swings up his back legs and he kicks the alien in the eyes. The bunny kicks the shit out of the alien and scratches his eyes out. The alien screams and drops the bunny and in the process about half of the heard turn back

Then I woke up.

My heart was pounding like it was real and tragic. But as soon as I was fully awake I started laughing.
